National Seminar on Green Procurement in the Public Sector and Its Impact on the Green Supply Chain

With the objectives to promote awareness of Green Purchasing among participants from the government, business and consumers sectors, to promote among the business the need to comply with environmental standards imposed by major export markets (e.g. the USA, the EU and Japan) and to explore and discuss possible public policies and regulations relating to Green Purchasing, GPN Malaysia (GPNM), IGPN and the National Productivity Corporation (NPC) Malaysia, with support from and the Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers (FMM), help a National Seminar on Green Procurement in the Public Sector and Its Impact on the Green Supply Chain on 25th March 2008 in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia.
